Really amazing and powerful little device. Can’t believe the value for money here. Works right out of the box, but I recommend buying a branded (Samsung) microSD card and replacing the stock one. Emulates up to PS1 no problem. I’m so happy that I get to revisit all of my favorite childhood games!

Works well out of the box with included games but works even better with third party firmware. Also replace the microsd card ASAP, they are low quality and prone to failure (the only major negative I can think of, for the sake of the average user)

This unit was my second order, and it’s just as awesome as the first! I wanted to have another on hand both for longevity and to play while the other is charging. These things really do have over 15,000 games, and if you know how to tinker, you can get pretty much any game running by altering the settings and engine used to run them. Absolutely awesome hardware and software.

This retro console booted fine out of the box, but I had issues with my games saving to the provided memory card. I ended up buying 2 replacement microsd cards. One to hold the OS and another for the ROMs. There are guides on how to do this, but for the average person, I think this would be too much. The hardware is impressive given the price even with all these issues. The buttons aren’t great and it is fatiguing to hold for an extended time because of its ergonomics. Even with all these issues, it is a great device and I’m happy with it.

I’ve had 4 of these units from this company now, and this is the only one that had an issue – something seems to have damaged the micro SD card’s boot sector data, so it wouldn’t boot. The seller did a quick return/refund and I got a new one in no time that was as perfect as the others I have! If it seems odd to give 5 stars to a product with a random fault, I give it because of the good service and the outstanding little devices these are! If you win the sad lottery and get a dud, they’ll get you taken care of in no time! These things are awesome!
